Lorna Emery – Founder and Owner of Emery Executive Services

I began working in the finance industry 19 years ago. The first 10 years of my career I worked in stockbroking at Montagu Stockbrokers and Hartleys (now Euroz Hartleys). I enjoyed the fast transactional pace of the stockbroking world however, I discovered a love for Financial Planning and begun studying to further my career. I have worked for firms such as Macquarie Bank and Partnership Wealth and have completed my Graduate Diploma of Financial Services. In 2020, my mother was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an incurable, aggressive brain cancer. With 2 small children and a very sick mother I realised I needed to find a way to work remotely with more flexibility. With the assistance of NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme), I decided to fulfil a lifelong goal for me and start my own business, Emery Executive Services.

I am very passionate about helping advisers to work more efficiently and grow their business whilst providing their clients with a positive experience. Establishing an outsourcing administration business has provided me the opportunity to support advisers all over Australia and share with them my extensive knowledge and experience in a client service administrator role. Emery Executive Services is now a team of experienced, professional adviser assistants available on an ongoing or fixed term basis.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality, administration support so our advisers can focus their time with their clients and building their businesses. We provide superior administration services from pre-SOA, implementation, ongoing and compliance services. We are proficient in client database systems and competent with extensive investment platforms, superannuation, and insurance providers.
